Delivering Your Firewood, Cooking Wood and Mulch
Many of the modern age’s distractions can make it difficult to put in the time to buy premium firewood. We’re happy to make the process as painless as possible.
Step 1: Choose from Different Types of Firewood, Mulch, and Cooking Wood
Different woods are good for different things. Dense hardwoods, like oak and birch, are the ones we sell as firewood because the densest woods are best for long and dense fires. When you’re heating food instead of your home, durability isn’t as important.
Unsurprisingly, aromatic woods are best for cooking. Cherry wood can indeed provide a hint of cherry, bringing a tangy sweetness to a dish, but oak can also be as useful for cooking as it is for heating a home because it can give that strong smoky flavor that every good steak needs.
Last but not least, our mulch comes in four great colors: brown, black, red, gold and natural. Try our red mulch to give your lawn a rustic look, or check out our black mulch for a more modern aesthetic.
Step 2: Select Your Order Size
Whichever wood you think is best, our sizes can accommodate you. A “bundle” contains 5-7 pieces of wood, a 2’x4’ “mini stack” contains 80 pieces, a half cord has 64 cubic feet of wood, and a full cord contains 128 cubic feet of wood. Call us if you’re having trouble deciding. We don’t want to hurt your wallet!
In addition to our grill and pizza oven sizes, we also offer our cooking wood in half cords and full cords. If you need your wood to last for more than a single cookout or business lunch, we’ll make sure you have enough.
